Dwight Walker, director of WWWalker Web Development Pty Ltd, a small Web development company in Orange NSW, says today that they eventually won through legal action through the NSW Local Court over a much bigger network marketing company who tried to avoid paying them for 9 months.
"This is a huge victory for small developers who often have to deal with incompetent middle managers of non-technical companies who squeeze them technically by under-resourcing projects or not bothering to track costs. At long last after 5 years of these sleazy operators running all over us, we have won in Court. This will be the first of many court actions we will pursue to keep our business viable and not be trampled under foot by greedy, difficult companies in Australia and overseas. As a technical company we are way ahead of these kind of tricky companies and are confident to win back lost ground created by their onslaught. We had to track them down through moving our writ to 3 local courts but eventually hit pay dirt! We were not phased by threats of legal action as we had firm grounds for demanding payment.
"Praise God for his help in keeping us motivated!
"But where sin increased, grace increased all the more!" (Romans 5:20)
Since 2006, court actions dried up.
