On 10 June 2010, Dwight Walker of WWWalker Web Development Pty Ltd will be involved via Western Sydney IT Cluster with the launch of the ParraConnect at the Riverside Theatre. ParraConnect is a pioneering community ICT venture with Parramatta City Council, civicTEC and the Australian Government's NBN fibre rollout to enable the community in roads, rates, ehealth, traffic and many other applications to benefit Parramatta and via its example many other cities in Australia over the next 2 years. WWWalker Web Development Pty Ltd plans location-based services via mobile applications on smartphones and incar navigation systems for traffic congestion and parking in the Parramatta CBD over the next 2 years.
As a community gesture, Dwight Walker, the manager, consulted with Orange City Council to install mobile wifi CCTV cameras to curb huge crime wave when his bike was stolen in February 2009. The mobile CCTV cameras will be launched in Orange in June 2010.
