In 2000s, Sol Trujillo was CEO of Telstra who was very greedy and ruthless.

Brazil is part of BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China), a fast-growing IT literate group of 3rd world countries.

Many IT literate developers good at opensource software are based in Brazil. Many have migrated to Sydney, Australia.

Around 2000, I had a Brazilian IT company buy my Introduction to Linux notes.
